“ A good BBQ joint can be hard to find in Nebraska, but this spot is an absolute gem. We've only ordered carryout so far--twice--but both times the experience was fantastic. I'm pretty sure it was the same guy who helped us both times, and he was genuinely pleasant to speak to, which made the whole process even better. We ordered one of the platters that comes with two meats--our picks were pulled pork and burnt ends--along with a half rack of ribs. Everything was flavorful, tender, and clearly made with care. The burnt ends had just the right amount of smoky caramelization, and the pulled pork was juicy and packed with flavor. The ribs were perfectly cooked, with the meat falling off the bone. They also provided both sweet and spicy BBQ sauces, and both were absolutely delicious. The sweet sauce was rich and tangy, while the spicy one had a bold kick that didn't overpower the flavors of the meat. Both sauces were robust and paired perfectly with the smoky meats. The portions are generous, and the sides we've tried (mac and cheese and coleslaw) were just as good as the meats, rounding out the meal beautifully. For a part of the country where BBQ isn't exactly the star of the culinary scene, this place delivers authentic, mouthwatering BBQ that's worth coming back for again and again! ”
“ I couldn't tell you what about this place doesn't scream BBQ WINNERS. If you need to know how good their food is, just look around, they have trophies lining the walls. I had heard amazing things about this place and I regret not going sooner. I'd have to say my favorite item by far were the boudin balls. If I could, I'd order a vat of them. I also loved their sauces and would go back just for those. The staff at this establishment was also so helpful in sharing their favorites and making sure everything was looking good! Will DEFINITELY be coming back!! ”
“ This place is a must see on every visit to Omaha. Came Sunday around 5, anxious with anticipation. Sad that we were turned away at the door because they were "SOLD OUT." “ This was recommended by a local to us and it was probably the best Omaha joint we tried! Portions are big, so beware! Burnt ends were delish -- super juicy and soft. Highly recommend! I tried the 1 meat plate as it seemed to have the most variety of options you can try for a single serving. Easy for dining as well. You walk up to the counter to place your order, sit down at any table, and they bring your order to you. Good for bigger groups too. Lots of free parking in the parking lot. Staff was awesome! Must try when you're in Omaha! ”
“ This place was delicious! The environment was clean and spacious with plenty of sitting room. You order at the counter which was very easy and smooth without a long wait. The menu had a variety of items that were reasonably priced and covered all the essential and best barbecue items. We ordered a platter to share and it was delicious. We loved all of the sides we ordered and the meat was cooked excellently and well flavored. The cornbread was the perfect finisher and had a great texture with just enough sweetness . I loved all the options for sauces on the table as well. Overall we got plenty of food for the price and all left very satisfied. Would highly recommend for good BBQ ”
“ Didn't get pics from my last take out order but we tried a bunch of things Ribs - these have grown on me Burnt Ends - my fav Brisket/Pulled Pork - take it or leave it for me. I'll give them another try but likely will switch to just ribs/burnt ends Sides - I've tried the potato salad, beans, chili and fries - all are solid depending on my mood ”
